Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Anchor & Co Limited, trading as AnchorOS (“Anchor & Co”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the AnchorOS platform at app.anchorand.co. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They are widely used to make platforms work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the platform operator.
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and browser fingerprinting. This policy covers all such technologies.
2. How we use cookies
AnchorOS uses cookies strictly for the purposes of operating the platform. We use two categories of cookies:
| Category | Purpose | Type | Can be disabled? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you authenticated during a session. Without these cookies the platform cannot function. | Session & persistent | No (required for platform access) |
| Functional | Remembers your preferences, including configured terminology and interface settings, so you don’t need to re-enter them on each visit. | Persistent | Yes (some features will be affected) |
| Analytics | Collects aggregated, anonymised data about how the platform is used (pages visited, features used, session duration). Used to improve the platform. No individual profiling. | Persistent | Yes (no impact on core platform functions) |
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not allow third parties to place advertising cookies on the AnchorOS platform. We do not use cookies to track users across other websites.
3. Specific cookies we use
| Cookie name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Strictly necessary | Supabase authentication session token. Keeps you signed in. | Session / 1 week (refresh token) |
| va-* | Analytics | Vercel Analytics. Anonymised page view and performance data. No personal identifiers stored. | 1 year |
This list is updated when new cookies are introduced. Last reviewed: 1 May 2026.
4. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. All major browsers allow you to:
- View and delete existing cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites
- Block all third-party cookies
- Clear all cookies when you close your browser
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
Please note: disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the AnchorOS platform, as authentication requires them. Disabling analytics cookies has no impact on platform functionality.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at anchorand.co/cookies. We will notify organisation administrators of material changes.
6. Contact us
